Anyone else hate dating right now... Seriously??

Is it me or is dating getting more difficult as we get older? It seems to me that a lot of people are in the same boat..here's my deal: I'm an attractive man. I take care of myself. I know how to have a good time and I've got tons of personality. I've got friends and a good job. What I DON'T have is someone of the opposite sex to have fun with. I mean sex is one thing but actual company during the daylight hours, is something that seems to be a rare commodity these days. Is it because we men are outnumbered 25:1? Is it because it's relatively easy to get laid in DC so you'd have to be crazy to deal with all the "strings" I hear mention in a negative context? All I know is, that I'm not looking for said "strings.." What I am looking for is the company of a girl with whom I can do fun stuff(read: go out to the movies, rent movies, take weekend trips, WHATEVER) You know...what we used to call dating.

Option A - Wine tasting 

Option B - Hang out at a pool (maybe your complex has one)

Option C - Bake some cookies. Eat them.

Option D - Peddle boats in the Tidal Basin

Option E - Dance at Cafe Citron

Option F - Picnic on the Mall

Option G - Comedy show at the Improv

Option H - Sushi at Cafe Asia

Option I - Steaks at Ruth's Chris

Option J - Steaks on a grill

Option K - Seafood kabobs on a grill

Option L - Olives at Olives

Option M - Dinner cruise on Potomac

Option N - Check out the monkeys at the zoo

Option O - Smores at Cosi

Option P - Drinks at the Doubletree which spins

Option Q - Couples massage at Sugarhouse

Option R - Hang out at Gravelly Point

Option S - Run/Walk (I need to workout after being sick)

Option T - Coffee or tea anywhere

Option U - Cigars at Iwo Jima

Option V - Volunteer at Walter Reed

Option W - Baseball game at Nationals Stadium or Camden 

Option X - Shoot some pool at Bungalow's or Buffalo Billards

Option Y - Shoot some water guns on a random beach
