I mean for really. Its bad enough that I hate everything that Valentine's Day stands for the least I can do is get what I really want. This one horrible day dedicated to celebrate the love that couples share, BLAAAAAH!! Makes me wanna gag!! What's sad I use to be one those idiots running around "trying to make sure everything was going according to plan" (Smh) I was soo naive. How much $$ did I spend to proclaim my undying love and appreciation to my valentine? Too damn much, probably could have a condo downtown F St. NW by now..
Singles have now found their own voice on the day Hallmark and every other floral shop from DC to Dubai cream over like Pee Wee Herman at the movies...We call it National Singles Awareness Day or S.A.D if you prefer. This letter goes out to all you still feeling like you're a "relationship type", what the hell is that???

don't get discouraged, we live in a world where were taught be skeptical of everyone who crosses our path, people don't smile at strangers anymore and many of us are so self-consumed that we don't appreciate the small stuff. the smiles, the help with groceries or the apologies. i, too often get discouraged but does that mean we should stop doing those things...? of course not! it's people like you who make the world a better place. never stop smiling :)
